ABOUT TILA

The InWords Literary Award (TILA) was established in 2020 and is presented annually to an author in recognition of a single title or a body of work. In 2025, its value was increased to £15,000.

The award is announced at the Cheltenham Literature Festival. 

 

The award’s creators and funders are life patrons of Cheltenham Festivals who wish to remain anonymous.
