No bureaucracy, no committees, no accountability, no solicitation.
Just merit, rewarded.
ABOUT TILA
The InWords Literary Award (TILA) was established in 2020 and is presented annually to an author in recognition of a single title or a body of work. In 2025, its value was increased to £15,000.
In 2026, an additional award, the TILA Coda, was added. It recognizes outstanding novels by young writers and is valued at £5,000.
The awards are announced at the Cheltenham Literature Festival.
